About This Rod
The 2026/27 Hamachi Nano Xylimum Xtreme™ Jig is the latest update to one of Hamachi’s most popular offshore series — rebuilt for 2026/27 using the latest nano-carbon technology for improvements across the board: longer and more accurate casting, increased lifting power, and higher sensitivity, all backed by Hamachi’s Worldwide Lifetime Warranty as standard.
The NXX series is a versatile, full parabolic traditional jigging rod that is equally at home bottom fishing, live baiting, stray lining, and trolling — the versatility is a big part of why the Nano Xylimum range has been so consistently popular. The nano-carbon blank delivers insane fighting power capable of working both speed jigs and slow-fall jigs, with outstanding sensitivity through the blank that lets the angler feel even the lightest of predator knocks.
All NXX models are fitted with the popular fighting foregrip, providing extra leverage when you’re tangled with something serious, and a traditional EVA rear grip. The rear grip can also be converted to a cross gimbal with the optional Hamachi NXX alloy gimbal (sold separately). Rods are paired with a conventional / overhead reel seat and ship with a divided rod bag as standard. Not sure which model is right for you? Fighting Foregrip
All NXX models feature a fighting foregrip as standard — the extra leverage when pumping hard on deep structure or a big fish running makes a real difference over a long fight.
CNC Alloy Reel Seat
Hamachi CNC-machined alloy reel seat with double lock nut — secure, corrosion-resistant, and purpose-built for hard saltwater use with conventional overhead reels.
Gimbal-Ready Rear Grip
Traditional EVA rear grip converts to a cross gimbal with the optional Hamachi NXX alloy gimbal — sold separately. Adds harness-belt compatibility for serious deep-drop or stand-up work.
