The 2026/27 Hamachi XOS GT’n’Doggie™ Expedition Heavy Popper & Spinning Rod is the serious offshore casting weapon in the XOS range — rebuilt for 2026/27 with the latest nano-carbon technology for improved power, sensitivity, and casting distance. Available in three lengths — 7’6", 8’2" and the new 10’0" — and two line classes, with a premium JDM Edition in PE 5–10 for anglers who demand the best.

Designed for big-game popping, casting stick baits and metal slugs from the boat or rock platform, the Expedition’s semi-parabolic blank with ultra-fast recovery delivers the backbone to stop serious fish while maintaining the tip sensitivity needed to work surface lures correctly. The PE 5–10 covers versatile offshore and rock fishing from 50–100lb braid; the PE 8–13 is built for the heaviest applications — trophy-class GT, Dogtooth Tuna, Marlin, and large pelagics from exposed rock platforms and offshore. The new 10’0" adds maximum casting range for shore-based and rock work where distance is everything.

All models are three-piece for travel and storage, pairing with quality 6000–30000 size spinning reels. The JDM PE 5–10 Edition features upgraded Japanese domestic market blank, guides and fittings for anglers who want the highest-specification version available.
