Suits 13 - 18mm Blanks
Designed to clip on and off jig rod blanks, to protect them from sloping around and shattering carbon blanks whilst in rod holders.
Hard-plastic spiral wraps, commonly used on jig rods, are designed to protect cables and hoses from abrasion. Unfortunately, on fishing rods, the shock is transferred when the rods slop back and forth.
It's essential to use not only a tapered design that clips on and slides up and down the blank to get the perfect position in the rod holder, but also one that is forgiving when rods get whipped around in rough conditions or on high-speed boats.
This model suits 13 - 18mm blanks, including the following Hamachi rods
- Hamachi Nano Xylimum - all models
- XOS GTnDoggie jig rods - all models PE3-8 pe4-10 and pe5-13
