The Hamachi XOS GT’n’Doggie™ Split Ring Pack is a set of super heavy-duty stainless steel split rings, built for connecting hooks, assist cords and terminal rigs to big saltwater lures — poppers, stickbaits, jigs, hard bodiies and trolling skirts. When you’re chasing XOS Giant Trevally, Yellow or Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail Kingfish, Samson Fish, Amberjack, Dogtooth Tuna or anything bigger, the factory rings supplied with most lures are usually the first thing to bend open or fail under pressure. On an lure, the split ring is very often the weakest link in the whole rig.
Manufactured from premium-grade stainless steel with a dedicated anti-corrosive finish that shrugs off years of saltwater exposure, every ring is precision-formed to spring back instantly after opening — no permanent deformation, no gaps for line or hooks to slip through. The tight wire wrap and consistent temper hold the rated breaking strength cast after cast, fight after fight. Use a quality split ring pliers (not standard pliers) to open and close rings without deforming them or scratching your lure’s finish.
