The Hamachi Zenku Super Nano JDM™ 2027 Overhead Casting brings the acclaimed Zenku jigging blank to a dedicated trigger-grip casting reel seat for the first time — built for low-profile baitcaster reels rather than a traditional lever-drag conventional outfit. The 2027 nano carbon blank, upgraded SiC guides, dual foregrip and the characteristic thin-diameter Zenku profile combine to deliver the same precision jig action and exceptional sensitivity as the spinning and standard overhead models — available in three lengths: 5’2", 6’2", and 7’0".
Choose your PE rating to define the rod’s personality: PE 0.5–3 is a finesse tool rated to a 7kg dead lift — outstanding for light snapper, kingfish and trevally with small knife jigs on a compact low-profile baitcaster. PE 1–3 steps up the backbone significantly, rated to a 7kg dead lift — an extraordinary specification for a rod this light — handling heavier jigs and bigger reef species with authority on a mid-size casting reel.
The trigger-grip reel seat locks a low-profile baitcaster securely in the palm, with the trigger forward of the reel foot for precise thumb-bar control on the drop and instant one-handed engagement on the strike — ideal for repetitive casting and jigging sessions. The 7’0" length is the stand-out option for deeper water and longer casts, while all lengths close to under 103cm for travel and ship with a divided rod bag as standard.

7kg Dead-Lift Rated (PE 1-3)

Trigger Grip Reel Seat
Hamachi CNC-machined alloy trigger-grip reel seat — purpose-built for low-profile baitcaster reels, with the trigger positioned for secure one-handed palming and rapid thumb-bar engagement during repetitive jigging and casting.
Dual Foregrip
